The Last of Us Fans Call Remake a "Cash Grab" After Leaked Gameplay
Fans of The Last of Us are angry with the new leak footage of The Last of Us Part 1, a new PlayStation 5 remake of the popular 2013 game Us. After all, the game is only 9 years old, has received a PS4 remaster and is backwards compatible on the PS5. It's so accessible and well-functioning for many that you don't have to spend time and resources on a complete remake. When The Last of Us Part 1 was announced, fans were immediately even more worried when it was confirmed that the remake would cost $ 70, despite the lack of the game's original multiplayer mode.
Gameplay footage has been leaked, showing some of the battles in The Last of Us Part 1. Some claim that the game is "money haste." This could point to one of the game developers. He disagrees with the idea that it is a money haste and is actually a labor of love for the team. Players pointed out that the animation was very similar to the original game, and many questioned the amount of work spent on this remake. Of course, remakes that push graphics to this point are not easy. We're waiting for Naughty Dog to tell you exactly what this remake has changed in terms of gameplay. Some people wanted something close to The Last of Us Part II, but it doesn't seem to happen.
The playstyle of The Last of Us Part II is clearly different, with Erie being a younger, smaller, and more agile character than middle-aged Joel. She can crawl, be more agile, dodge, etc., but Joel is a big guy. I'm still not sure if it's too generous for Naughty Dog.
The Last of Us Part 1 will be released on PlayStation 5 on September 2, 2022. What do you think about the leaked gameplay? Please let us know in the comments. Or contact me on Twitter @ Cade_Onder. You can continue scrolling to read some of the gameplay reactions.

Great for 2013 ... uh .....
This gameplay looks great. As you know, it was released in 2013. However, this is exactly the same game mechanics as the first game, not a rework. I love the first game, but it's a shame https://t.co/9FC0tGMLO7

Will the new animation really change a lot? Like ... So if he waved his other hand or ended the combo upwards instead of an overhead punch, is it suddenly worth it? https://t.co/76UZgusVCs

Some say it's a waste of Naughty Dog time
Hey ... I hate everything about this release. It's a waste of Naughty Dog time, it's overpriced, it lacks the facts, it's a complete waste. I know I don't have to buy it, no one does. But that doesn't mean I can't complain about it, lmao. Everything is ridiculous https://t.co/L0ETdITJVP

Not worth the full amount for some players
It looks like shit. And what's even more insulting is that if you wereted just staring at the visuals for two years, you would have had the basic etiquette of throwing part 2 of the PS5 native version with it. This shit isn't even worth $ 30, let alone the list price. https://t.co/UivPPEgXYc

Some people don't understand the difference from the PS4 version
I really want this to trol someone and show only the PS4 version. https://t.co/6Igkx2A0o8
