EA Reportedly Making Another Marvel Game in Addition to Black Panther

Video game publisher Electronic Arts is reportedly working with Marvel Games to create several projects related to  comic brands. Yesterday, new details about the Black Panther game, which is said to be being developed in the new EA Studio, were revealed. The title is  said to be in the very early stages of development, but it is reported that Marvel-related game EA is not the only one working on it. According to Jeff Grubb of

Giant Bomb, EA is working on another game related to Marvel that does not include Black Panther. Grubb was the first reporter to reveal the  details of this open-world game Black Panther, and added that he  heard that another such project was also underway at EA. However, we haven't added any game-specific information such as characters, superhero teams, or genres. Based on's own speculation, Grab estimates that EA is likely to have landed  with Marvel a contract similar to what Square Enix had previously had. In a unique collaboration with Marvel Games, Square has published titles such as Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel's Avengers. However, since these releases,  Square has sold both studios that created each game, and Japan-based publishers may be working with Marvel for now.

It's also worth noting that last month we heard a similar report suggesting that  this collaboration between Marvel and EA was further bullied. One of those reports hinted that EA may be working on a fighting game set in the Marvel Universe. There is  no clear guarantee that such a project will happen, but Marvel definitely has a long history in the fighting game scene and it is quite reasonable to return to this genre.
